Users can create custom cross stitch designs by selecting the "Create a Cross Stitch Pattern" option. The editor interface appears, allowing for pattern customization by filling in squares with DMS floss colors. Additional custom colors can be added as desired.

To initiate design, the pencil tool can be used to fill squares, while the eraser removes filled areas. The program offers over 80 stamps and borders to enhance patterns, which can be applied seamlessly.
